I am managing director of Base52 Ltd, a firm of Chartered Management Accountants based in Hitchin, Herts. We help small businesses and individuals comply with accounting and tax regulations and manage their finances effectively. We are friendly, accessible and have a transparent pricing policy.

I qualified as an accountant in 1986. Before launching Base52 Ltd in 2003 I worked for HM Revenue & Customs for 5 years as a VAT officer/trainee accountant and most recently for Tesco as a senior accountant and project manager for 16 years. My main area of expertise is business accounting, covering compliance (accounts and tax) as well as financial management. My project management background also comes in useful in many areas relating to the planning and delivery of client work. I am married with 2 grown up children and enjoy sport, music and holidays.
